Since 1919, our chamber has served as an organization through which business executives, professional and other concerned citizens have united to provide leadership and direction for the economic and social development of our community. Our success depends the solid financial base our members provide as well as the dedication of those who work through our Board and our committee structure. We cannot be content to rest on the strength of our past successes because we will always have new challenges for improving our economic climate and quality of life in our great parish tht we designate as home!

2012 Horses and Harmony

Co-hosted by Evangeline Downs! The Hadley J. Castille Award will go to an outstanding Horseman who has moved the equine industry forward, and/or an outstanding musician. Last year's recipient was Hadley J. Castille, accomplished and world renowned cajun fiddler from Opelousas, La. More information will be published at a later date.

2012 Soiree Royale

Annual chefs' cookoff and wine tasting to benefit Opelousas-St. Landry Chamber of Commerce. Over 40 signature dishes prepared by top chefs from around the state. Cash prizes awarded in 8 categories plus Best of Show.
